If I were a woman I might be permanently traumatized by such a vision. No doubt, Cronenberg deserves a prominent place in the sicko hall of shame. In this scene Kevin Kevin Thomas Ian Nicholas uses a cheat sheet as a guide when going down on his girlfriend, Victoria Tara Reid. Audition 1999 piano-wire scene and Ichi the Killer 2001 torture scene These scenes tie because they both come from the twisted mind of Takashi Miike, whose catalog falls mostly into the shocking category.
The Cabin in the Woods 2012 In this scene, college kid Curt Vaughan Chris Hemsworth is hard-pressed on having sex with his girlfriend Jules Louden Anna Hutchison in the woods. Aftermath is pretty necro-sickening to watch too. There is, however, no getting around the scene that has 20 or so rats lit on fire and scampering out of a burning building at the end. One guy proceeds to jokingly show its brutalized flesh to the camera. They casually sit on their couch and watch themselves on video as they murder a middle-class couple in their home. Saying a rape seen is unnecessary is like saying a holocaust movie is unnecessary because everyone knows how bad it is.
While I respect your choice not to list certain scenes, I decline to acknowledge that they are never necessary. This movie is frightening for its realism and one of the most uneasy scenes involves Henry and his killing companion Otis Tom Towles as they view a sweet little home movie they made. If just one gullible single mom allows a paedophile in and around children well the thought makes me ill…unnerving 4 sure.
As for Salo, well folks I saw the scene and it is pure fiction, no single human being could suppress the gag reflex no matter what the threat! She had the misfortune to take a shortcut home which led to an unwelcome meeting with a vicious pimp, who brutally raped her in the ass in a subway. I cant not find this film any where can you help me? The girl that survives walks out to the shore line and her fiends who are rowing a boat see her and get her help. Not so much with Miike, but many of the other films just leave their viewers without any sense of hope. If not—have you been hiding under a rock all these years?! Also, three movies which are highly disturbing, and I never see on any of these lists.
Thankfully they edit out the yucky stuff for cable broadcasts. Well made, not a gore fest, but brutal. Sara, You mentioned over a year ago how you thought the implications of a rape scene were enough. Martyrs is another stommach churner. The watch was a stomach wrencher.
